Keenan Layton, Physiotherapist, brings his talents as a Manual Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to Healthfx. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University and earned a Masters in Physiotherapy from University of Western Ontario. Keenan’s primary interests are in Exercise Science and Prescription, Manual Therapy, Tissue Healing, Sports Medicine and overall Wellness and Fitness. As a Licensed Physiotherapist, he is in the process of completing his Level III Manual Therapy accreditation and has previously completed his Part A of the Mackenzie Treatment Approach for the Lumbar Spine. He brings to healthfx a focused understanding of the assessment and rehabilitation of spinal and sports injuries and expertise in delivering programs to correct imbalances that impede good functional movement and physical health.Particularly in the last two years, Keenan has developed his knowledge of elite performance training as part of working with the Team Canada Women’s basketball team. Outside of the clinic, you can find Keenan enjoying sporting activities such as golf, baseball, volleyball, football, and strength training.
